Monday -what's new?
Good Morning Margo...I don't know why I am up this early either, but I have been watching HSN's Fashion Clearance and ordered a couple of things....that is.. until the rains came and knocked out my signal....I think it is God's way of saying STOP...so I decided to check on you guys.
Well, I went to see Brideshead Revisdited last evening....it is a pretty heavy English costume drama...my girlfriend *****ally loves this kind of movie said "I didn't love it"...so "dammed by faint praise". All I know is the one glass of wine I had during the movie was not enough to make my butt happy. [my cracked tailbone].
We went up to the rooftop for dinner and split a small white pizza [just white cheese with a few cherry tomatoes on it] and a bottle of wine...and chatted for an hour an a half. It was a very pleasant summer evening.
I ran into an old neighbor, who said "You look wonderful" [3 times]..I don't think I have seen her for about 15 years.....I was surprised by her double chin....as she had ALWAYS been the glamourous Norweigan Ice Queen with platiumn page boy and beautiful face., tall and very thin...but I guess we all age....somehow it was strange to see her age though, in my memory she never had. I guess it is nice to improve with age isn't it with our WLS.
My husband and another girlfriend saw "Get Smart" ...also not for me.....then they went out to eat also. It is a good thing I am not the jealous type as this is the 2nd time this week my husbad has gone out to dinner with another woman. LOL..the other one was to celebrate their mutual birthday with Prime Rib...totally wasted on me...but they love it.
Well, I think I will go back to bed and read Barbara Walters new book "Audition" I started it and it seems interesting ....seems to answer some questions about one of my girlfriends that has a mildly mentally reatarded sister, as BarbaraWalters did....she has also never had a child because she is sure that she will need to take care of her sister and she also has an overwhelming desire to achieve.

Wow... you sure got up early today. I've got a busy day a work today so I will hit the ground running once I get there. I hope.
Had a nice dinner out with 17 friends and relatives last night. Any time spent with our little grandson is a great time. 2 1/2 is a wonderful age. His new word is "yesth" and we just love hearing it. It was a Southern BBQ restaurant and everything smelled wonderful. I had pulled pork and it sat fine. I didn't eat much of it and brought alot home but enjoyed every bite. I gave my ice cream to my grandson and didn't miss it in the least.
Hope you all have a great Monday. Those suffering from the latest heatwave - please take care of yourselves.

well im up early to go do my walking before this unbearable heat gets going. It is suppose to be 100 again hear today with humidity of 90 no rain just feels like it.
Just got back yesterday from my 50th class reunion. I had a wonderful time, my best girlfriend in the world when in school was there as were all the other girls we hung out with. we had a great time. and was sad when it was over. we exchanged addresses and phone numbers and some of them we exchanged email addresses.
well got to go get this walk in before the sun comes out. have a great monday. it is the start of something new.

Just another day in the sauna today. We're suffering here, heat in the low 100's and humidity in the 80's, so the "feel like" temps will reach 110. If I had my way I'd stay inside all day, but I MUST go order new glasses, go to the bank, then meet with the radio station about advertising for the Walk. Then, home in time for the teleconference class for the OH life coach training.
Well, off to make Gary's breakfast and lunch then get moving myself. Hope everyone has a dandy day! You all take care of yourselves

I have a busy workday today. At least I don't have any outside appointments, everything can be done from home. That is the part I like best about my job.
I do need to get out one day this week and find a dress to wear to that Alabama wedding in September. I keep putting it off. I best get shopping soon before all the summer dresses are gone. I should be able to find something on clearance this time of year.
I hope Kathi has a wonderful Birthday today!!!
I best get in the shower and start my day.

Good morning everyone!
What's new with me is my 16 y/o niece was chosen as All Star cheerleader!!! GO AMY!!! She's been invited to perform with the All Star group in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and also in the London New Year's Day Parade. Guess where I'm hoping to go? My sister and Amy are going to both, but I had to pick one. If all goes well and I can get my passport... I'm going to London the day after Christmas and returning the day after New Year's. One really good thing about the timing is I'll only have to take Jan. 2 off work! So, I shouldn't have to hear from the boss about how I'm taking off again. The bad thing is I'll miss my grandsons during the holidays. My daughter and exDIL both say go, it's a once in a lifetime chance.
What else is new
yesterday George was upstairs taking a shower. I was in the kitchen and heard plink, plink and felt something wet hit my arm. We have another leak from the upstairs bathroom through the kitchen ceiling. George tried in vain to get it to leak again so he could see exactly where it was coming from. No deal! So, while he's tracking the leak, I decide to help by putting out the garbage. When I lifted the bag, I knew it was too heavy, but continued to the garbage can anyway, pulling my back. I know in a few days it will be fine, but for now it hurts.

I am working today from 12 to 8 and I have to be the supervisor again today. What fun!!!!!
I am on a mission. My coworker has a pair of capris she just got last week. I really want them one in every Color!!!!! They are so cute Buttons on the bottom cuff Pockets and drawtrings on the bottom of the legs. She got them at Ross, I went to the Ross near my house and they dont have them. I think Ill go to where she got hers. Hopefully Ill find them.
It rained a big bunch yesterday and I hpe today we get somemore.
It is about 88 today and very nice. Not the 110 degrees Susan is having.
